33: Groups of Three: Time for Bed

A man sits alone in a bedroom at night. A policeman, a bartender, a busker, a waitress, and a drifter walk into the room. The seated man looks alarmed. The policeman pulls back the bedcover, directs the seated man to climb in and tucks him in. The now laying man frowns and yanks the cover to his chin. He is NOT ready for bed! The bartender sits a glass of whiskey on the bedside table. The waitress leans in and kisses the laying man’s forehead. The busker quietly strums a lullaby. The laying man falls asleep. They all begin to exit. The drifter, last in line, turns out the light and leaves the door ajar. Everyone whispers, “Goodnight.”
