5: Stories: The Witch

The witch sits in a rocking chair inside her home, scrolling through her news feed. She cackles to herself and to her black cat as she views a post from another fairy tale witch. The faint sound of scratching and chewing becomes increasingly more audible. The witch looks up from her reading, then stands to investigate the noise. A small hole has taken form in the ceiling. The noise ceases. There is a long pause. The witch inches toward the hole. There is a sudden loud crack and an overweight child comes crashing through the ceiling.

The idea is a role reversal, casting the witch as the protagonist and Hansel and Gretel as the self-entitled antagonists who destroy her home. Airbnb is there for you in the event of an emergency, such as a home in need of unexpected repair.
